I might be over-reacting, but it seems so surreal for now. For years, I have only been dreaming of enrolling for a short course in fashion design, and now it is about to happen (just like that). The opportunity came as a surprise, and I am so thankful for it. I just can't wait for my 1st day in class.
Regarding the course, I am planning to take modular classes in sewing and patternmaking at Fashion Institute of Design and Arts here in Davao City ('coz I am from Davao and I work here). If I were in Manila, I would most likely enroll at Fashion Institute of the Philippines because they offer cheaper rates and they also have noteworthy graduates.
Going back, right after my shift today I will go directly at FIDA to verify the information that I have regarding their modular classes. Right now all I know is that the two classes have 12 sessions each and it will be a flexible schedule that takes place every saturday (at least 5 hrs a week). If I go to class every week, I should be done in a matter of 3 months, just perfect for December. I am looking forward to take orders in between...and I am positive that clients will be swarming in.
Now, all I want to do is inhale all POSITIVITY and EXHALE all negativity!
Things are falling right into their designated spots...Now is right time...It's the PERFECT timing! :-)
